Thanks for this.<br /><br />What I like about your blog is that you are able to write truth in a charitable way. That is becoming more and more important in this climate of disgust at what is being done to Holy Mother Church.<br /><br />Last night I listened to a talk about backbiting and rash judgement on Video Sancto. It brought forth wonderful insights about the fact that we will have to account for every word, and thought come to that.<br /><br />I'm going to be more discriminating in which blogs I read, and I intend to comment on some as a counter-point to the insult and mocking that goes on.<br /><br />There is a way to tell the truth, and to inform the ignorant without personal invective - there MUST be as we will be judged in the same way as we judge.<br /><br />One point brought out in the talk was that if I had the circumstances, education, reading, life experience, and indoctrination that some bishops, cardinals, and popes have had throughout their whole lives, I would be worse than they.<br /><br />One trick is to think, or say, one good thing about whomever, for every negative thing.
