With every sin, we snatch the rod from Our Lord's hand - how fitting an image that is - to strike at His glorious brow, driving the thorns ever deeper. And how the Modernists are scandalized by the Man of Sorrow! Not merciful enough?!? Not forgiving enough?!? I'm disgusted by the lot of them.Radical Catholichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04135335562951838761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2054853820111729866.post-82697617928960921602014-10-10T15:05:02.332+02:002014-10-10T15:05:02.332+02:00Lest We Forget: this picture represents what all t...Lest We Forget: this picture represents what all the fuss is about, no? WE have done this to Our Lord - all of us, with each and every sin.

That's why what has happened over the course of the ages, and what is happening now: sin piled upon sin with no pleading for souls - hurt Jesus then, and hurts Him now.

If only priests, Bishops, the Holy Father would SEE. They show us Jesus, Resurrected, and showering Mercy upon the earth. They don't show us the Suffering Lord, lashed by our sinfulness and ingratitude.

But then we have Our Lord's comment "the blind leading the blind and they both fall into the pit". Oh, how uncharitable Our Suffering Lord is to say such a judgmental thing!!
Barbara

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
